Plans to meet someone, ticked paid but..... not interested anymore!
To keep the story short, You make plans to come over and just when you have your ticket and want to break to good news .... this person DISAPPEARS!!! No more emails, chats or text messages whatsoever, even though you do see this person still active on RTPersonals. ... So in this situation what would you do so you do not waste this money for nothing... ... This is my list: ... 1. Always always have a backup plan. Especially when traveling long distance to meet someone there will always be the question.... what if things don't work out before you meet. ... 2. Never do the extra mile just for 1 person. This is not a dating thing but more a hookup thing... remember that! ... 3. Be prepared for the unexpected. ... 4. Always make plans when there is another activity or party going on in the place you are going, so at least you can enjoy your trip. Luckily for me I am coming in the weekend of the Carnibana in Toronto so I will definitely have a good time there ... 5. Do NOT waste time chasing ghost. This person might have his/her reasons for not contacting anymore. Even though it would have been nice to at the very least send you a message to close things up nicely. After you have tried every means possibly to contact this person; if there is no answer then just forget about it and focus on planning your trip. To many other people on this earth to be wasting time anyway. ... If there is anything else you gent/ladies want to add please do |

Sound advice. One more thing I would add for women who are traveling to meet a man-- always book your own hotel room as a backup, even if he says he's getting a room for you.
My reasoning: If things go south (he turns out to be a psycho or was deceiving you about something or you just weren't attracted), you'll have a safe place to go that he doesn't know about. And if you pay for your own room, you can't be guilt-tripped into staying in his room just because you are in a city you aren't familiar with and have nowhere else to go because the Barbed Wire Collectors Convention is in town or something....

Gotta be the head...and I mean the one on TOP of your shoulders lol Share my journey...I write when my soul cries.

LiquidSilkBBW: you are so so right... I forgot about that since I already booked a hotel
kwood200: TwiztedFantasies is right. That is why I have rule number 2. This is a hook up thing not a date. Leading with your hearth will only cause you more emotional pain.

Thanks for the posts peeps. I have to RECTIFY this post since it was some misunderstanding between us why this person was away for more than a week (no internet connection or mobile phone). Can't say if things will be good again between us but I will give the benefit of the doubt since we have a long way coming...
funlady0808: we will talk about how and when thanks
